Tonight I watched the movie The Ugly Truth. Sadly, I am very disgusted and disappointed in it. In expecting to see a funny, witty romantic comedy, instead I watched something that was full of perversion and cursing. Ironically, this brought out the ugly truth about Gerard Butler, who I was quite fond of up until this point. Now I know, however, exactly what he's willing to do and say to get money, and I cannot respect that.
While I still do thoroughly enjoy some of his movies, this no longer means that I will want to automatically see a movie just because he is in it. Now he has to prove himself.
